Ebay is the biggest online auction site in the world. It has a number of sites ranging across the globe from Ebay India, to UK, US, Germany, Canada and a host of others. To use the site in your area you need to sign up for it. You will also need a current credit or debit card, or bank account details if you want to sell on the site. Although feedback is provided by buyers and sellers this is not always reliable. There was recently a spate of sellers generating good feedback by selling items at 1p (you have to complete a transaction to leave feedback), in order to bump up their reputation.
Summary: Buying and selling on here can be fun but it is full of potential pitfalls.
